National Formosa University & Kanagawa Institute of Technology Forge Partnership to Advance Carbon-Neutral Energy Solutions

Kanagawa Institute of Technology (KAIT) Smart House Research Center has signed a mutual cooperation and collaboration agreement with the College of Electrical and Information Engineering at National Formosa University (Taiwan). This partnership aims to advance joint research on energy management systems utilizing the IoT international standard communication protocol ECHONET Lite, contributing to global carbon neutrality efforts.

The agreement was formalized on October 30, 2025, during a signing ceremony held at National Formosa University. The event featured a commemorative lecture by Professor Isshiki, Director of the Smart House Research Center, which attracted approximately 50 participants. The lecture highlighted KAIT’s initiatives in energy management systems and smart house technologies.
